David McCallum


David was born in Scotland, and came to America in 1961 to play Judas Iscariot in George Steven's The Greatest Story Every Told. Since then he has appeared in theatre, film and television on both sides of the Atlantic, with is most enduring role being that of Illya Kuryakin in "The Man from Uncle."

He has been seen more recently in "VR5" for Fox, "Trainer" for the BBC, Motherlove with Diana Rigg, and Hear My Song with Ned Beatty.

In the last months guest appearances have included "Law and Order" and "The Outer Limits," and he recently completed filming Coming Home, with Peter O'Toole and Joanna Lumley, and Windy City, with David Jason, both for British Television.

Theater has included tours of the UK of The Lion in Winter and the US of Angel Street.

He is the current voice of Land Rover and regularly records books on tape.

He lives in Manhattan with his wife, Katherine, an interior designer with McMillen, Inc. They have a son, Peter, and a daughter, Sophie. He has two sons, Paul and Val, by a previous marriage. He spends most of his spare time on his bicycle.
